Resident Evil known as Biohazard 4 in Japan; often abbreviated as RE4) is a 2005 survival horror video game published and developed by Capcom. It is the sixth installment of the Resident Evil series.

Resident Evil 4 was announced as a GameCube exclusive as part of the Capcom Five, but was ported to numerous formats, becoming a cross-platform hit, selling more than 11 million copies across all platforms.

Resident Evil 4 was ported to multiple platforms. On October 25, 2005, it was released on the Sony PlayStation 2 with additional gameplay features but slight visual and aural downgrades, including a lack of shadow and lighting effects, reduced sound quality, as well as lower resolution textures and character models.[1] A PC port developed by Ubisoft was released. A Wii port was also released. The game was also ported onto various mobile platforms including iOS and Android.

It garnered universal acclaim for its story, gameplay, graphics, voice acting, and characters, and is often named one of the best video games ever made, winning multiple Game of the Year awards in 2005. It influenced the evolution of the survival horror and third-person genres, popularizing the "over-the-shoulder" third-person view.

Story:-

In Resident Evil 4, special agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent on a mission to rescue the kidnapped U.S. President’s daughter. Finding his way to a rural village in Europe, Leon battles horrific new creatures infested by a new threat called Las Plagas.
